Ground Science Pty Ltd has a diverse range of skills and staff which has earned them the respect as a key player in the field of ground engineering. Key engineering skill areas include; geotechnical investigations, pavement design, environmental site assessments and land capability assessments with specialist skills in construction and earthworks testing, specialist geotechnical testing, sports field testing, quarry product testing, level one inspection, mine backfill mix design testing and research and development.
Ground Science was established in 2003 and as a continually developing company, the two Directors; Ernst Gmehling and Chris Senserrick saw the need to not only provide the construction and turf industry with a testing service that honoured their commitment to service, but a company capable of providing a broader range of engineering services and skills to the diverse range of clientele that choose to use Ground Science’s as their preferred supplier. The growth of the company is a testament to the quality of service provided and the technical skills and experience of the staff. |
Ground Science is the countries premier sports field testing facility with projects performed Australia wide, throughout Asia and the Middle East. Recent projects include the new AFL Carrara stadium and Gold Coast rugby stadium in Queensland, Skilled Stadium in Geelong and and numerous horse training and racing tracks around the country and overseas. Ground Science has also completed cricket soils and sand testing for the International Cricket academy at the Dubai Sports City project which is an enormous venture for a country on the edge of a desert.
